It’s National Mutt Day and that gives us a chance to celebrate everything we love about our best animal friends (sorry cat lovers!). If you have a dog of your own, be sure to give them a treat today. In the meantime, feel free to look at 10 of the most adorable pooches ever to wag their tails on the big screen.

Please note, it is impossible to rate dogs because they are the best. Every single pup on this list is at least an 11/10.

10. Buddy, Air Bud

Buddy is a basketball-playing, loving ray of sunshine that will steal your heart--and the ball!

1. Uggie, The Artist

Uggie is truly a good dog. For his role as Jack on The Artist, Uggie won the Palm Dog Award for best performance at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Some critics even said that Uggie was a better actor than Leonardo DiCaprio was in J. Edgar!
