Actor Pierce Brosnan will step into the world of superhero films, joining the cast of the much anticipated film adaptation of comic book antihero Black Adam. It has just been announced that Brosnan will play the hero Dr. Fate, to star opposite Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.
Even though this is Brosnan’s first leap into superhero films, he is no stranger to action-packed, big box office flicks, having portrayed James Bond in four of the franchise films. Brosnan is the last piece in the Justice Society puzzle, with the multi-generational familial team of heroes set to debut in Black Adam. Noah Centineo has already been cast as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
While the plot of Black Adam is under wraps, rumor has it that the film will begin production in Atlanta this April.
