Cineworld plans to reopen their theaters in the U.S., U.K., and Europe starting late June and early July. Cineworld operates several well-known theater chains—like Regal in the U.S., Cineworld and Picturehouse in the U.K. and Ireland, and Cinema City in Europe.
As of now, the plan is to open all theaters in the U.S. and U.K. on July 10—only 21 days before the release of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. Of course, individual theater openings will depend on local government restrictions.
Cineworld has promised to open with multiple Covid-19 health precautions in place such as:
-An updated booking system that will adhere to social distancing guidelines in cinemas
-Adapted movie schedules to manage long lines and avoid crowds
-Enhanced sanitation methods to ensure cleanliness at all cinemas
