Disney+ has enjoyed major success with its first two Marvel series, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, both of which commanded huge audiences on the streaming platform. The third Marvel series to hit the platform will star Tom Hiddleston, who is reprising his role as the clever and cunning God, Loki.
New episodes of WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier were released weekly on Fridays, however Disney is changing up the cadence for Loki. It has just been announced that Loki will debut on Wednesday June 9th, two days earlier than previously planned.
The series will follow Loki the God of Mischief, and is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. While much of the plot is currently unknown, we do know that time travel will play a big part in the series.
Starring alongside Tom Hiddleston in the series are Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant.
More to come.
