Mike Flanagan is no stranger to the Steven King universe.
The filmmaker wrote, directed and edited 2017’s Gerald’s Game and the film was met with very positive reviews from critics, viewers and fans of the book.
He’s now bringing yet another one of King’s stories to life with Doctor Sleep. The 2013 horror-novel of the same name is a sequel to King’s iconic The Shining and follows Danny - the son from the original - as an adult (played by Ewan McGregor) struggling with the traumatic experienced that took place at The Stanley Hotel.
This featurette, which includes both King & Flanagan, dives into the story of Danny and what got him to where he is now.
