Oscars cutting 4 awards from broadcast

February 12, 2019

The acceptance speeches, however, will air later in the show. The 91st annual award show is also going to skipping out on a host this year (making this only the second one with no host) after the originally selected host, Kevin Host, backed out following The Academy asking him to apologize for a decade-old Tweets he had already apologized for in the past.
