Disney/Pixar is responsible for creating some of the most visually stunning animated films ever.
From being underwater to walking around with fur covered creatures, living toys and more... the incredible detail in each of their films takes a ton of work before getting to the final state we see on the screen.
One of the early stages in planning the visuals is through hand-drawn storyboards.
Storyboards serve as the backbone to each shot and help the animators know what they'll be brining to life.
This side by side comparison from 2017's Coco shows just how similar, yet different, storyboards are vs. the final product.
