Before his role on Seinfeld, Richard Herd made his acting debut in the 1970’s film, Hercules in New York. He later went on to perform in hits like All The President's Men, The China Syndrome, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, V, Star Trek: Voyager, and many more.
Richard Herd made a total of 11 appearances on Seinfeld as the inept New York Yankees executive who supervised Geroge Costanza (Jason Alexander) after he became an assistant to the traveling secretary.
Richard Herd will be missed, but his performances will live on.
