Longtime television star and movie actor George Segal has passed away at the age of 87, according to a statement made by Segal's wife on Tuesday.
With an impressive acting career spanning more than 63 years, Segal made numerous appearances on a variety of television shows since 1958, including Murder, She Wrote, Law & Order: SVU,The Simpsons, Entourage, and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.
Segal is a two-time Golden Globe winner, received an Oscar nomination for his performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and has a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Most recently, Segal starred in the sitcom The Goldbergs alongside Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm), and Wendy McLendon-Covey (Reno 911!).
