It appears a new season of film delays is upon us. Just after Warner Bros. announced yesterday that Mortal Kombat is delayed by a week, it has been announced that Venom 2 will also premiere a week later than expected.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage has moved its premiere date from September 17 to September 24. The first Venom film, directed by Andy Serkis, was a box office hit and made $855 million globally. The one-week delay potentially better positions Venom 2 to succeed at the box office, opening against Dear Evan Hansen, and The Sopranos' prequel film, The Many Saints of Newark.
Are you looking forward to watching Venom 2 on its new premiere date?
